Elf was found this morning having a very civilised game of Snakes and Ladders with his friends. Elf was winning!

Messages from Santa

Last night Elf bought back some very special video messages from Santa.
The girls found him on my laptop and were very excited watching their messages.
This is the fantastic website that I used http://www.portablenorthpole.com/home. The personalised video's are great with lots of details about the girls and you can even add photos of them onto the videos too.
Everytime Santa said the girls names their little faces beamed and it was lovely to see. :)

Santa reminded them that they are on the nice list but they both need to try abit harder to listen to Mummy and not have tantrums to make sure they stay on that list. Hmmm... We will see!

Cross dressing Elf

Nobody was quite sure of Elf's antics last night but the girls found him sitting with Barbie wearing one of her dresses, a tiara and a silver necklace. We think that barbie was giving Elf a makeover. The girls thought this was very funny indeed and thought he was a very silly elf.

We all agreed though that Elf made a rather fetching Elfette!  :)

Helicopter hitch hiking!

We woke this morning to find Elf hitching a ride on a Helicopter in the lounge!!
The girls weren't sure if he was just playing or decided to be a lazy elf and hitch a ride back to the North pole last night instead.
Those of you with small children yourselves may recognise the Helicopter pilot being Miss Rabbit from Peppa Pig. The girls were a little put out that Peppa wasn't going for a fly too. ( Note to self!!)

Tree Climbing

This morning Elf was discovered climbing the Christmas tree! The girls thought this was funny and had their own reasons why. Abigail thought he was climbing to the top to sit right at the top with the star, where as Lucy was more concerned that he may be trying to steal the baubles!

Fun at the fair

Well after his visit to North pole to deliver his report to Santa, Elf decided to discover what new toys the girls had since his last visit. He was delighted to discover the Happyland toys.
Elf took a liking to the funfair toys and set them up for a play. When the girls came down this morning they discovered him having a ride on the ferris wheel! It took the girls a few minutes to find Elf as the happyland is just the right size for him.

He's Back!

Well its flown by but its that time of year again!
Time for our little visitor to come and perform his watching duties. The girls have been very excited about Elf's return so were thrilled to see him sat on the fireplace this morning. He had travelled with his special box containing his book and also his dvd.

The girls loved watching the DVD which re-enforced the no touching rule and how Elf's magic powers will disappear. Its a lovely short film that the girls enjoyed watching first thing this morning and loved seeing Elf and all his pals in the North pole.
Of course the book was enjoyed too and the girls sat nicely sharing the story . Elf is working his magic over them already :)
